Overview
The Cisco 360 CCIE R&S Advanced Workshop 2 (CIERS2) v5.0 course helps learners to prepare for an expert-level problem-solving process that includes options analysis to support complex network technologies and topologies. This workshop is approximately 20 percent lecture and 80 percent hands-on labs that focus on advanced configuration and troubleshooting that includes five 8-hour performance assessments graded and returned with mentor feedback.
Objectives
After completing this course the student should be able to learn:
- Expert-level problem-solving, options analysis, end-to-end test-taking strategies, time- and stress-management techniques
- IOS on Linux (IOL) platform lab hands-on
- Perform expert-level tasks involving both configuring and troubleshooting WAN and switched Ethernet networks
- Configuring and troubleshooting RIP V2, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
- Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting route redistribution & Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- Configuring and troubleshooting Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) Layer 3 VPN
- Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting IP multicast & IP V6 unicast connectivity
- Configuring and troubleshooting router quality of service (QoS) using the Modular QoS CLI (MQC)
- Perform expert-level tasks for both configuring and troubleshooting IP Services
